THE LOCATION
This stunning mountain lodge is located in Castella, CA - just 38 miles north of Redding, CA. It is right on the Sacramento River, with a fantastic deck overlooking the water - don’t forget your river shoes! The home is close to so many incredible places to explore, including: the beautiful Castle Crags, Siskyou Lake, Castle Lake, Castle Dome, Mt. Eddy, Black Butte, McCloud Falls, Moss Sprae, McCloud Reservoir, Bunny Flats, and so many more great spots. The home is only 16 miles from Mt. Shasta and Mt. Shasta Ski Park - perfect for skiing and snowboarding trips.

ABOUT THE SPACE

This 3,000 sq ft home has 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms and a 2 car garage. It’s a custom built home with a fully stocked and equipped kitchen, beautiful wood floors, and a huge rec room with pool table and games. The house also has a full mud room and washer and dryer. Guests will enjoy the expansive living room with a huge river rock fireplace and plenty of seating. There are two master suites, each with a full bath, and a third and fourth bedroom. Guests can use the entire home and deck.

Comfort

You will not be lacking any comfort or relaxation. Fluffy down comforters with linen duvet covers. Very comfortable sheets. Extra blankets to cuddle on the couch and watch Netflix. All new beach towels for guests to use. A tankless hot water tank for instant hot water for showers.

Activities

Guests can help themselves to bikes, sand chairs, life jackets for small kids, and fishing poles. There is a rope swing, and a barbecue with beautiful string lights on the patio. Huge front yard to play volleyball or play a family baseball game. You can also enjoy corn hole sets and a horseshoe pit.

Amenities

The home has two smart TVs, loaded with Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, etc. We offer complementary WiFi. Guests can use the second fridge in the garage for extra food storage. We also have a bar upstairs with a mini fridge and a wine fridge. We have a French press, Keurig, and a normal coffee pot for use.
